About the event
The performance will be a musical narrative of life in the Marine Corps, focused specifically on Greg Whalen’s deployment in 2021. The songs are inspired by this musician’s participation in the ruthless and chaotic evacuation of American troops from Afghanistan. The songs Greg Whalen and The Ramblers will play are all originals, based on Greg’s personal experiences and observations.
