Experience an evening of music, storytelling, and Scottish tradition with acclaimed folksinger and songwriter Jim Malcolm, live at the Dawn Theater.

Known as one of Scotland’s finest troubadours, Malcolm brings the songs and stories of his homeland to life through a rich, expressive voice, masterful guitar and harmonica playing, and an unmistakably Scottish sense of humor. A former lead singer of the award-winning Celtic folk band Old Blind Dogs, he has spent decades performing throughout Europe and North America, earning acclaim for both his original songwriting and his interpretations of traditional Scottish music and the songs of Robert Burns.

Warm, witty, and wonderfully entertaining, a Jim Malcolm concert is more than a night of folk music—it’s a musical journey through the history, landscapes, characters, and culture of Scotland.
